How we rank

Every guide starts with a wide scan — we search the topic several ways and merge the results, often a hundred-plus candidate videos — then narrow to the ones whose content we can actually verify against their own transcripts. Those finalists are read alongside their viewer comments, then ranked on four criteria: accuracy, pedagogy, coverage and freshness.

We publish the reasoning, not just the order: where videos contradict each other and what is worth knowing before you start. Nothing here replaces watching — every recommendation links straight to the creator, and each timestamp jumps to that moment in the video.
